Privacy Policy

Effective: March 31, 2026

The short version: Kyra Trading stores your data on your device and in your personal iCloud account. We don't have servers, we don't have accounts, and we can't see your trades. The only data that leaves your device is anonymous app usage analytics — and you can turn that off.

1. Who We Are

Kyra Trading is developed by Neon Tiger Labs LLC, a California limited liability company. In this policy, "we," "us," and "our" refer to Neon Tiger Labs LLC. "Kyra" refers to the Kyra Trading iOS application.

2. Data That Stays on Your Device

All trade data you enter into Kyra is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. We have no ability to access, read, or retrieve this data.

Trade records include:

Trade date and time, including the timezone in which the trade was recorded
Direction (long or short) and instrument type
Entry mode (manually entered or imported) and import source metadata
Ticker, entry and exit prices, quantity, and position size
Profit/loss calculations
Emotional states and execution ratings
Setup tags and context toggles
Notes and journal entries
Edit history (a log of changes made to a trade record)
Soft-delete status (records marked for deletion but not yet permanently removed)
Sync and conflict metadata used to reconcile records across devices

Pre-trade checklist sessions and pattern analysis results are also stored locally.

App preferences and settings include:

Onboarding completion state
Premium subscription cache
Notification preferences and flags
Milestone and nudge counters
Paywall impression history
Theme selection
Analytics opt-in preference

Pattern detection runs entirely on your device. No trade data is sent to any server, API, or cloud service operated by us.

3. iCloud Sync

If you have iCloud enabled on your device, Kyra may sync your trade data across your Apple devices using Apple's CloudKit framework. This data is stored in your personal iCloud account, encrypted by Apple, and governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. We cannot access your iCloud data.

4. Anonymous Analytics

Kyra uses TelemetryDeck to collect anonymous usage analytics. This helps us understand which features are used and how to improve the app.

TelemetryDeck's SDK declares the following anonymous analytics data types:

Anonymous product interaction events (e.g., "a trade was logged," "settings were opened")
An anonymized device identifier derived by TelemetryDeck's SDK — this is a hashed value that cannot be reverse-engineered to identify you or your device
General device information (device model, OS version, app version)

TelemetryDeck does not collect:

Trade data, tickers, prices, or profit/loss amounts
Emotional states or execution ratings
Any personally identifiable information
IP addresses (TelemetryDeck discards these on ingestion)

You can disable analytics at any time in Settings. When disabled, no data is sent to TelemetryDeck.

5. Payments

Subscriptions are processed entirely through Apple's App Store using StoreKit. We do not collect, process, or store any payment information. All billing is managed by Apple and governed by Apple's terms.

6. Data We Do Not Collect

To be explicit, we do not collect or have access to:

Your name, email address, or any account credentials (there are no accounts)
Your location
Your contacts, photos, or other device data
Any of your trade or journal data
Advertising identifiers

7. Third-Party Services

Kyra uses only two third-party services:

Apple CloudKit — for iCloud sync across your devices, governed by Apple's privacy policy
TelemetryDeck — for anonymous analytics, governed by TelemetryDeck's privacy policy

We do not use advertising SDKs, tracking pixels, Facebook SDK, Google Analytics, Firebase, or any other third-party data collection tools.

8. Data Deletion

Since your data lives on your device, you have full control over it. Within Settings, you can clear your trade records and journal data. Note that certain app state — such as your analytics opt-in preference and onboarding completion — is stored separately and is not cleared by this action. Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data.

If you have iCloud sync enabled, removing the app from your device does not automatically delete data stored in your iCloud account. To remove iCloud data, go to Settings → [Your Name] → iCloud → Manage Account Storage on your device.

9. Children's Privacy

Kyra is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. The app involves financial trading concepts and is intended for adult users.

10. California Residents

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), California residents have the right to know what personal information is collected, request its deletion, and opt out of its sale. Since Kyra does not collect personal information and does not sell any data, these rights are satisfied by our architecture. The anonymous analytics described in Section 4 do not constitute personal information under the CCPA.

11. Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the effective date and notify users through an app update. Continued use of Kyra after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
